This is Why we made Buman
Just like you, we’re absolutely passionate about bicycle adventures. Our roots run deep in the heart of cycling, nestled right here in Belgium, where the opportunities for incredible rides are limitless. We’ve had a very big checklist of bike rides to conquer: apart from our weekly Sunday rides with the bike crew, we wanted to conquer routes like the Tour de Flandres and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, follow Laurens Ten Dam on his REBOUND initiative, and embark on a Flandres Divide backpacking trip.
The biggest problem? This cannot all be done with an aero race machine. That’s why we created BUMAN. Crafting a bike that not only embraces every one of these diverse adventures with comfort but also becomes a reliable companion for years to come. Because, at BUMAN, we’re more than a bike brand – we’re all about turning your riding dreams into memories, one pedal stroke at a time.

Designed in Belgium
Our bikes are designed and assembled in Belgium, the heart of cycling! Belgian roads do not have the best reputation, so we build a bike that can withstand all the brutality that Belgian roads can give.
Although you can directly order the standard bike on the website, we are more than happy to work with you on building your dream bike! We really like tuning bikes.
Hand-built
Each Buman is hand-built by a single professional mechanic (meet Geert), not a factory assembly line or AI powered robot. Actual human beings with mileage on their Strava accounts build your bicycle from the frame up, then going over every last bolt to make sure it performs to its full potential for years to come!
